Facebook

For those of you who have not checked out Facebook I think you should! it is quite a riot. It is easy to get started and when you start finding people and poeple find you it gets really fun! I have reconnected with people that I wouldn't have otherwise. I was skeptical at first but there is a reason why so many people are on it...

I am on it but I totally don't understand it. For example. Why does everyone refer to themselves in the third person? Tara is going to the beach. Tammy has a headache. It reminds me of that guy Elaine went out with on Seinfeld, Jimmy. Jimmy's hungry. Jimmy's tired. The other thing I dont get is poking. I was poked by someone but don't know how to respond to that. What is poking?

OK, 3rd person - I think its because "Tara is going ot the beach would otherwise come up as I am going to the beach. when lots of people post i guess it makes it easier. 3rd person always reminds me of Bob Dole. Bob Dole hates Bill CLinton but I am going to get completely killed by him in this election. Not sure he ever said that exactly but he mine as well have...
As for Poking, i have no idea. i dont really get a lot of that and i have wondered what good a pix of a cup of coffee does for me but i found myself sending Tara Mike & Ikes, because it was right on the homepage when i logged in. If you get beyond all of that it is fun! but can people find you if only using your married name?
